Blepharoplasty

Blepharoplasty, or eyelid surgery, can correct those saggy and drooping eyelids. Eyelid surgery can not only enhance the look of your eyes, it also has functional benefits if you are having trouble seeing due to sagging lids. Consider eyelid surgery if you are looking to rejuvenate the appearance of your eyes.

Breast Augmentation

If you are looking to enhance the size of your breasts, Dr. Lipton performs breast augmentation. Breast augmentation can improve both the shape and size of your breasts using either silicone or saline implants. You can even combine a breast augmentation with a lift for a perkier look. All of your options will be discussed during your consultation with Dr. Lipton. Breast Reduction

If you have large breasts that cause discomfort, pain, or low self-esteem, we offer breast reduction surgery. The reduction mammaplasty procedure will reduce the size of your breasts making you more comfortable and improving the size of them in proportion to the rest of your body.

Facelift

Facelift surgery is one of the most popular cosmetic procedures performed. A facelift can give you a youthful appearance by lifting and repositioning the muscles on the face for an improved contour. Dr. Lipton will discuss the different facelift options available including a traditional facelift, mid-facelift, and also including a neck lift. Facelift surgery can make you look 10-15 years younger!

Liposuction

For stubborn areas of fat that are resistant to exercise, liposuction is a procedure that will suction away the unwanted fat. Liposuction can be performed on many areas of the body including the lower abdomen, flanks, hips, upper thighs, and the buttocks. Dr. Lipton uses the tumescent technique that is much easier on the body and more effective.

Mastopexy (Breast Lift)

Mastopexy, or a breast lift, can improve the appearance of your breasts if they are sagging and have lost their shape or volume. Breast lifts are particularly common following pregnancy or breastfeeding. Mastopexy may also be performed in conjunction with a breast augmentation, or alone, depending on the goals of the patient. This will be discussed during your consultation with Dr. Lipton.

"Dr. Lipton gave me a breast lift with implants 20 years ago and have been so very pleased that I did! I would recommend him. I teach group fitness and have for 26 years, being in front of other women can be intimidating if you don't feel your best. He made me look like a woman and balanced out my torso to hips ~ Making me feel like my best! Thank you Dr. Lipton... 1000X thank you!"

Rhinoplasty

Rhinoplasty, also known as nose surgery, can reshape your nose to improve its appearance and function. If your nose is crooked, has a bump, droops, or has enlarged nostrils, you may be a candidate for rhinoplasty. Nose surgery may also be necessary if you have constricted nasal passages.

"I cannot say enough about Dr. Lipton and his staff. Our youngest daughter had septum issues and always disliked the shape of her nose. She was scared, hesitant, nervous and sweating thinking about surgery, but the moment Dr. Lipton walked in the exam room she instantly felt at ease. He's so easy going and funny, that she felt a bond with him the moment they met. He answered all of her questions, explained the surgery in detail, and put her mind at ease. It turned out that her septum issues were much more involved than originally expected, and surgery was a bit longer than we thought. However, Dr. Lipton never charged us anything additional and was literally on call the entire first night as he helped monitor the bleeding and pain. We never felt alone or concerned, as he was always on the other end of the phone! For the next few weeks he had her laughing as she went through the painful recovery and removal of the packing. The best part of all though is that no one notices the surgery, because he did such an amazing job of reshaping her nose…it looks SO natural. She can breathe better too, which of course is what we were striving for to begin with. His staff is always pleasant, very professional and friendly. We’re truly going to miss them now that the healing is just about complete. I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Lipton for any surgical procedure…he’s simply one of the best human beings we’ve had the privilege to meet!"

Tummy Tuck

At the office of Stuart Lipton, MD, we offer tummy tuck (abdominoplasty) for those with loose skin on their abdomen. A tummy tuck can remove excess skin and tighten the underlying muscles to give you a flat stomach. We offer both full and mini tummy tucks depending on how much excess skin the patient has.

"Absolutely the most friendly staff I have ever come across. Dr Lipton is fabulous in every way, you can tell he loves what he does. I had a tummy tuck and scare revision, I could not be happier with the wonderful results."

How Many Visits Will I Have Before My Plastic Surgery Procedure?

After your consultation with Dr. Lipton, if you've decided that you want to schedule your procedure, you will return to the office for one more visit. This preoperative visit will focus on answering any questions that have come up since your first appointment. The doctor will also discuss the details of your procedure and your anticipated recovery. At your pre-op visit, we may take photos of your target area to place in your medical chart.

How Should I Prepare For My Plastic Surgery Procedure?

Regardless of the procedure you plan to have done, your health and safety are two of our top priorities. To support your body through surgery and recovery, you may be advised regarding a few do's and don'ts. Generally, before plastic surgery, patients are advised to:

  • Avoid smoking and nicotine use for at least six weeks before surgery.
  • Implement healthy diet and exercise habits that support healing as well as long-term cosmetic results.
  • Prioritize hydration! Sip water throughout the day, every day.
  • Arrange sufficient time off work.
  • Arrange to have someone bring you to the surgery center on the day of your procedure.
  • Arrange to have someone pick you up after surgery and stay with you for at least 24 hours.
  • Pre-make several meals that you can heat easily during your initial recovery period.
  • Pick up your prescriptions and obtain medical supplies before the day of surgery.
  • Arrange a comfortable space at home that is filled with items to keep you entertained.

Can I Combine My Plastic Surgery Procedures?

It's not uncommon to combine plastic surgery procedures. Often, patients combine liposuction with a tummy tuck or blepharoplasty with a facelift. You don't necessarily have to stick to one area of the body. That said, Dr. Lipton will take into consideration the amount of time that will be needed for the different surgical techniques you'd like. Typically, procedures are combined when the total surgery time remains within the six-hour range.

How Long Is The Recovery From Plastic Surgery?

Whether you want to have breast augmentation, a breast lift, liposuction, abdominoplasty, or a facelift, you can expect to be off work for a minimum of one to two weeks. Initially, you will need to take prescription pain medication. You will likely have some degree of bruising and swelling and discomfort. Your post-operative care instructions will discuss the activity restrictions that are relevant to your surgery. Depending on the nature of your job and your procedure, you may feel well enough to return to work within a week, provided that you can remain within the restrictions set for you, such as avoiding lifting or stretching.
